The pattern was from a book I got for Christmas. It is filled with adorable patterns for dolls, dogs, ducks and horses. |
She is by far the most complicated doll I've made yet. Her face was intricately embroidered using one string of floss at a time. Her eyes have 4 different colors of floss. |
Her tiny fingers were very hard to sew and stuff. Mine kind of look more like an animal paw. |
Each piece of hair was hand sewn individually. |
She turned out pretty cute. I love her wool felt shoes and yellow hair. |
She was quickly accepted into Olivia's most elite group of dolls. Now I have to get to work on a vintage inspired horse pattern from the book for Charlotte. |

Holy Cow! What an amazing doll! You are so talented (and patient!)!
P.s. That was me not my husband although I am sure he would agree (;
ooooh, Danielle, I want one for Mia and/or Daisy......cause I know you have all that spare time.
Darling, love it! What a great pattern. Can't wait to see what you do with "good" fabric.
