Easter Splendor

We got lucky with a glorious sunny Easter day this year. It was such a nice change after years of freezing cold Easters in Arizona. The girls were so excited about their walking, purring, meowing kitties the Easter Bunny brought (been asking for them at wal-mart for a while now).
After Church we headed to Salem. We had to stop at the capitol for a few pictures. The blooms are beginning to fall already, it looked like snow all over the ground. The girls had fun trying to catch falling petals.

Frolicking in the petals.

After the capitol we went to Mom and Dads; where Finn appreciated the lush cool grass.

Girls played ring around the rosies while dinner was prepared. Mom made a delicious ham, funeral potatoes and yummy cream pies. There was also a funny looking bunny cake for the kids-wish I had taken a picture. They loved it.

Here Scott and I re-enacted our engagement photos. We celebrate our 13th anniversary this month. We look a bit older and slightly more plump; but still in love....ahhhh.

Liv loved her poofy dress; she felt like a princess.

The girls looked cute in their dresses-no comments about dinner in Salem?? I'm sad I missed mom and dad's tree in bloom.
